We (Alain and Annette) decided to get a kitten, and we wanted a Devon Rex. After looking a while, we found the “right” one, "S*Dashing Darling of Saffron". We both liked her, and decided to call her Licy (pronounced like Lissy).

We took her home when she was about 13 weeks. She lived in Sweden, so we had to drive for about 6 hours to get there & another 6 hours to get home.

When Licy got home to our apartment, she felt a bit scared & alone at first. None of her cat friends were around, she was all alone! It got all better when she got to sleep in our bed. She is not alone anymore either, so it’s all good. Although Licy lost her best friend Togepi, she always have a cat friend around, as she gets along with all the other cats we have. Licy always sleeps with her daughters Cresselia and Uxie now.

Licy is a very kind cat, and her real name “Darling” suits her well. She loves attention and has super soft, almost silk-like fur.

If Licy where to be named after a pokémon, she would probably be named after Delcatty because because of the similarities they share.

Licy is solid black with yellow eyes.

She has now been DNA-tested and is carrier of siamese point, chocolate and dilute coloration. She tested negative on PKD and longhair. FIV/FeLV-negative (October 2009). HCM-scanned normal (November 2011).

Licy is the mother of The Platinum litter (born 09.05.10)
